Hipster Fashion Cycle

Fashion is cyclical, on account of the fact that we are somewhat delusional. All one needs to do is look at pictures year to year to witness seemingly latent trends resurfacing over and over, albeit with a few tweaks. Trends, coming and going at varying rates to accommodate our preferences as we incessantly change our minds.

Shakespeare said it best when he said:
"Ever fickle is a woman's mind."

Pretty Neat Collabo...

Such a great collaboration! Mathew Star Thomas, a.k.a. "CousCousKid" brilliantly infuses his doodles into the art work of Debra Thomas. Pretty neat, huh? Check it out: couscouskid.co.uk

The Beauty that is "StumbleUpon"...

I am convinced that I have discovered the panacea for any and all my interests. Let me just say that my interests run the gamut, from the most mundane to the avant-garde. Mind you, most of the time, I am unaware that some of my interests even exist. The beauty of StumbleUpon is that it acts as the catalyst for my latent interests and oftentime sparks new interests. This glorious website affords one the ability to search the most intricate, oftentimes, unseen pages of the web. It turns the internet into an upside-down iceberg (I wish I coule take credit for this term, but I did in fact "jack" it from a great social media marketing company). Think about it, when you use a search engine like google or yahoo, you really only are seeing the tip of the iceberg... The beauty of StumbleUpon is that by simply clicking "Stumble," you are transplanted to a deep, intricate part of the web, that is so callously ignored. Believe me, you're going to stumble upon some amazing information!! Happy Stumbling!! :)

By the way, the image above is a Dry Martini at 1000x magnification. One of the many cool things I've stumbled upon: A company called Bevshots has produced a series of shots of booze under the microscope at the Florida State University's chemistry labs.
